Ginger Roberts-Scott has been with the state since 1988, she has a bachelor’s in social science and is an LSW. She has worked in various capacities within DHHS - at Office for Family Independence-eligibility, Aspire, Child Protective Intake, Licensing Mental Health and Substance Abuse Facilities and programs. In 2006, Ginger went to Maine Care to work as a policy writer specializing in Behavioral Health and Waiver services then transitioning to the Children’s and Waiver Systems Program Manager, overseeing Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment Services (EPSDT) and Dental Services and the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waivers. In 2018, Ginger transitioned to become the Program Manager for Women, Infant and Children’s Supplemental Nutrition Program (WIC). This position is a culmination of all her years of experience and allows her to work with her two passions, Children’s health and nutrition. Ginger, in her personal life has 6 children although they are now grown up, three dogs and a kitty.
